My overall best dressed pick is Jessica Chastain. This lovely lady has definitely taken her fair share of risks this award season, and not all of them paid off. But she killed it in this gorgeous, printed, Alexander McQueen gown! Her hair and make up perfectly complimented those AH-MA-ZING Harry Winston canary diamond earrings!! She totally stole the show by wearing something unique and striking. 
In my opinion, Michelle Williams is a very close runner up. She looked incredible in this coral, Louis Vuitton, textured gown regardless if she was coming or going. From all angles, she really embodied a modern day Marilyn Monroe by mixing vintage details (the brooch, the peplum) into a fashion forward frock. Simple accessories and fresh make up completed this stunning look. 
Lastly, but by no means least, is Gwyneth Paltrow. The woman showed up in this Tom Ford dress and cape and my jaw dropped! I loved that she stayed true to her style (white, minimalist), but pushed the fashion boundaries. She went for it and I think she rocked it! I suppose it doesn't hurt that I've been mildly obsessed with capes for the last year, but I think everyone can appreciate the huge risk she took in wearing it. Sure, she may end up on worst dressed lists along with best dressed lists, but this woman knows how to make a statement. I think this will be a look we'll be talking about for years. The competition was stiff this year, both on and off the red carpet, but these were my favorites. Do you agree? If not, who was your best dressed?
